Barleywine is a popular style but divisive style, people usually either love it or hate it. I have never brewed a barleywine, but have always been under the impression that it takes months or even years to end up with one that tastes like it should. Then came Kveik yeast(not that it hasn’t been around for thousands of years). With my favorite dry Voss Kveik strain, I was able to turn around a delicious, complex barleywine in under 10 days, grain to glass.
