Recipe:
5kg ( 11lb) of malted barley
3kg (6.6 lb) of potato
1.5 kg (3.3 lb) of table sugar
Boil the potatoes untill they are breaking down (45min ish). Then mash with the malted barley at 65c ( 149 f).
Ferment with your choice of yeast and then tripple distill or distill with three plates.
Heat the hearts to 45c (113 f) and macerate the botanicals for 12 hours.
8g of juniper whole
8g of juniper crushed
6g of coriander
4g of orange peel
2g of angelica root
Pot distill taking a small portion off the top. Collect down to around 57% abv.
