This beer stein is one of the original Thewalt 1893 collectors edition beer steins that is now produced by King. This Beer Stein features a deep relief wolf pack decor designed by Paul Tadlock. The center depicts a high relief hand painted head of a wolf. The center image is surrounded by the scene of a forest with two additional running wolfs. The beer stein is issued as a hand-numbered Limited Edition with a 2,500 piece issue limit. The stein is topped an ornate, hand attached 100% lead free pewter lid. This beer stein holds 0.5 Liter (approx. 17oz), is approx. 9.5″ tall and is hand-painted with a ceramic glaze in a rustic blue color schema on grey base color. Glaze is applied using multiple firing processes where the stein is fired for each individual color, creating a glass-like smooth and colored surface. This German Beer Stein is 100% food safe and can be used to consume beverages.
