Today we’re making some vegan meads! We are using “honey” that doesn’t come from a bee source. I’m super excited to share this video with you all and I hope you will check out @TheBruSho to find some amazing brewing content. Our intention with this video was to both make a mead with the un-honey that we had. We wanted our brews to be stand alone good, but ultimately mix to be even better. So Trent decided to make a blueberry mead and I made a Lemon mead. You can find his video here:

Here is my un-honey mead recipe:

Lemon Vegan Mead:

16 ounces of Blonde Un-Honey
8 Ounces of Amber Un-Honey
3 Grams of Kveik Hornindal
4 Grams of Fermaid O (at 24 Hours)
2 Grams of Diammonium Phosphate (at 48 hours)
1 Cup of Lemon Juice
1 Oranges Zest & 1/2 Lemon Zest
— Stabilized with Potassium Sorbate & metabisulfite —
8 Ounces of Blonde Un-honey to back sweeten
